Privacy policy
How we process your personal data.
1. Who is responsible for your information?
Strictly Design DK ApS is the data controller for the personal data we process about you.

2. What information do we process, and why?
Enquiries and order requests via form, email and phone. When you contact us, we process the information you provide yourself: name, email address, phone number (if you give it), country and postcode (for order requests), the model and material you are interested in, and the content of your message. We use it to answer your enquiry, to give you advice and to prepare a quote or fixed price.
The processing takes place because it is necessary in order to answer your request and possibly enter into an agreement with you (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)), and because we have a legitimate interest in answering enquiries (Article 6(1)(f)).
Customers. If your enquiry leads to a sale, we process the information necessary to carry out the agreement, deliver the goods, handle complaints, issue invoices and comply with the Danish Bookkeeping Act (Article 6(1)(b) and (c)).
Dealers and other business contacts. We process contact details for people at dealers, suppliers and other business partners, such as name, job title, email address and phone number, in order to run the cooperation (Article 6(1)(f)).
Technical information. When you visit the website, our hosting provider records technical information in the server log files, for example IP address, time and which pages are requested. This is done to deliver the website and for operation and security.
3. Cookies and statistics
The website does not set cookies and does not use statistics or marketing tools. We do not load content from third parties such as Google Fonts or YouTube when you open a page. Read more in our cookie policy.
4. How long do we keep the information?
Enquiries that do not lead to an agreement are deleted no later than 12 months after the last contact. Information about customers is kept for as long as it is necessary for the agreement and any complaints, and for the period required by the Danish Bookkeeping Act (five years after the end of the financial year in which the accounting material was created). Contact details for dealers and other business partners are kept for as long as the cooperation lasts and are then deleted. Server log files are deleted by the hosting provider according to its standard periods.
5. Who do we pass information on to?
We use service providers for operation and communication. They only process information on our instructions or under their own data protection terms, and only to the extent necessary.
- Cloudflare, Inc. (USA) hosts the website (Cloudflare Pages) and processes technical information such as your IP address when the website is delivered to you.
- Web3Forms forwards the messages you send through our forms to us by email. The information passes through the service provider's servers, which may be located outside the EU/EEA.
- one.com provides our email, where enquiries and correspondence are received and stored.
- Our accountant and other advisers receive information when it is necessary for them to carry out their tasks for us.
We do not sell your information, and we do not pass it on to others without legal authority or your consent.
Transfers outside the EU/EEA. Some of the providers above, in particular Cloudflare, Inc. and Web3Forms, may process information outside the EU/EEA. Where this happens, the transfer relies on an appropriate legal basis, such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the EU Commission's standard contractual clauses.
6. Your rights
You have the right to access the information we process about you, and to have it corrected or deleted. You can also ask for the processing to be restricted, object to the processing and, under certain conditions, receive your information in a common format (data portability). If you have given consent, you can withdraw it at any time.
Contact us at ss@strictly-design.dk if you want to exercise your rights. You can also complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet) at datatilsynet.dk.
7. Security
We protect your information with appropriate technical and organisational measures. The website uses an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Messages sent through the forms are forwarded to us as email, and we do not store them on the website's server.
8. Changes
We may update this policy. The latest version is always on this page.
